I would suppose that the general concept is what intrigues me at first, seeing this rotund, sagging belly droop over finely honed mechanical gear. A possible vision of the future? A bit darker than WALL-E's cute version of the large and lazy, which is crazy effective.
The way you painted the mans (I hope) body in a stark contrast from the way you painted the metal components is top-notch. He really looks fleshy and the fat seems real. The metal seems like metal should: cold, hard, and precise. I just took a closer look at him and discovered what I thought was brush strokes of a wide brush seem to be streatch marks of damaged and strained skin... wiggy. I love it!
I usually go for art that exemplfies something I wish to attain, in this case, painting prowess, "realistically" created fat characters, and mechanical conception. Just top tier all the way to the bank and then some.
But seriously, the coloring is awesome and the design is creative. So creative that it made me sick. Good job C:
